I’ve been busy lately. Not with writing poetry, which I should, by all means, be doing. Rather, I’ve been busy with my latest project, The Rampallian.
Some of you already know about it, but for those who don’t, The Rampallian is the literary magazine I recently founded.
Honestly, if I’m in the mood to read poetry, I want to read dark, sad, angry poetry. I’m sure I’m not the only one. So, I created a lit mag that strictly publishes edgy, sarcastic and/or dark works of poetry, short fiction and art. That’s why I picked the name “The Rampallian,” the definition of which is “a mean wretch.”
So far, it’s great. I’ve been getting some awesome submissions, and I’m having fun seeing it grow. Right now, I’m going to publish a print and digital issue every season. I’ll be working solo for the summer issue, but I plan to bring on a few editors for the fall issue. For now, those people are helping me promote and may start writing me blog posts soon.
That’s it for now.
